The Year in Review

What a year. It’s hard to believe it is almost over. It seems to have gone by so fast but when I stop to look at what took place this year…WOW…It’s been quite a year.

I have been “off the grid,” so to speak, wrapped up in manifesting. I manifested something spectacular and peculiar and frustrating and wonderful, all at the same time. I must admit, I have done my fair share of whining over the past couple of months but over the last few days, I’ve been thinking about 2008 and my accomplishments. Sure, I tried some things that didn’t work out but I learned from them…I hope. I had great fun, lots of laughter, a few tears, some heartache, but overall, a really good year

In a few days, on December 31st, I will begin my annual ritual (really biannual as I do this on my birthday as well) and I will write in my red velvet journal my mother gave me years ago. That day I will write my year in review…mostly from a success perspective and all that I’ve accomplished. And, on January 1st, I will write my “intentions” for the year ahead. In MissionAbundance I write a lot about setting intentions, coming from the core of who we are and what wants to be expressed through us. I have specific areas that I will set intentions for, which I will share in a later post.

I so look forward to this time. It’s truly magical both in realizing my ability to survive all that life has to offer and my ability to dream and have hope for the future.

If you haven’t looked for your successes this year, now is the time. Over the next few days, keep a running list of accomplishments…even if the year has been tough for you, I know you can find a few. Find the good in your life and be grateful for what you do have in this moment…right this moment. And, have hope for the future.

Blessings,

Kamin
